Triennial review is a process associated with quality assurance. It assesses mentor competence and ongoing development needs and assures the quality of mentorship in practice. It is your responsibility to ensure you undertake triennial review to remain on the mentor register.

  • Every mentor must have a triennial review to ensure that she continues to meet NMC requirements.
  • Placement providers are responsible for the triennial review of mentors.
  • Evidence of review must be kept and available for monitoring.
